Renfrewshire Council - Digital Experience Platform Discovery and Alpha

I led a discovery project with Renfrewshire Council, who were looking to re-platform their website, and in so doing, vastly improve the user experience, and consolidate a broken and fractured digital estate. The project covered a number of aspects including tech selection based on requirements and integrations with existing systems, a service deep dive to identify specific challenges and requirements from the new platform and a deep investigation into how the organisation would implement a new way of working.

The result of these various workstreams was a detailed report which set forward a vision for the organisation, identified a range of challenges to the organisation that would need to be addressed to ensure success, a roadmap for the next phase and associated costs and organisational design.

The project has now moved into the alpha phase, exploring content modelling, governance approach, detailed technical requirements and building out a backlog ahead of implementation.
